Peddlars had lost their chef so we gave this a try on the off-chance. Such a lovely looking place. I ordered scrambled eggs and then checked to ensure they didn't microwave them. ( I mean, really, we have to do this now?!) They DID. So I cancelled my order and left. My review comes from this experience only.Seriously, it disgusts me that someone running a restaurant would do this. It takes a minute to scramble eggs. As long as people accept lower standards, the more chance we have that they will be the norm. If you're not a food lover, please don't run a restaurant/cafe. OR at least make a note on the menu that you nuke the food.
First visit to this cafe in Beechworth and we will be back! Friendly staff, tasty food and great coffee in pleasant and comfortable surroundings. Cheers!
