Nice food, nice coffee and very friendly staff
Decided to try this cafe out for breakfast for our first morning in Beechworth. Greeted quickly and seated out on the back verandah. Coffee order taken and water and menus left with us. Coffee arrived quickly and orders taken, coffee was very good. I ordered beans, pork sausage with a poached egg and toast. My wife ordered 2 poached eggs on toast. Order arrived in good time and was very well presented. My wifes eggs were undercooked with slightly runny whites. My pork sausage tasted old and was possibly reheated, as it didnt taste right. The salt shaker was clogged due to the recent rainy weather, but got an unclogged one. Overall ambience, service and coffee was great, the food overall was average at best. The price was certainly at the higher end at $46. Salt and pepper grinders are cheap and would be better for a cafe of this quality. Great comfortable cafe, great coffee but we have had better food for the price.
This has become our favourite cafe in Beechworth. Service is always friendly. My go to is the Baked Beans with Avo on sourdough. They're happy to make alterations to the menu.
Rude staff. Food very over priced $16 for two eggs on small pieces of toast. We sat Outside and I was given water in a small plastic cup not a glass. Im 28 not 3! Do not recommend at all.
