We did the paranormal investigation 3 hour tour and explored much of the asylum. There's hundreds of rooms and using the supplied equipment, we got many positive results from the resident spirits. Not for the feint of heart. Great fun though.

This place is always so great to visit. All the staff i have met have been fantastic. The tours i have done have always been great.I just did the sleepover and although it was a long night after having a sleep the next day and reflecting on the night before i was even more impressed by this place!Well worth the visit. And well worth the money

Mayday Asylum is an amazing historical place and Asylum ghost tours present an honest history of the Asylum over 148 years that it operated. If your into the paranormal they offer a tour to try your hand at being a ghost hunter for the night with the help of experienced guides.

This was my first ghost tour so I really had nothing to compare it to. Overall, i enjoyed the experience and this was enhanced by the guide's charisma and personality, who remained to be in character throughout the entire experience, as well as her extensive knowledge of the lunatic asylum itself. Although I don't really buy into any of the superstitions and supernatural phenomena, it was an insightful and interesting tour. I especially enjoyed going down into the cellar and standing there in the pitch black, trying to imagine what it would be like for patients down there for hours and hours.
