Step back in time in this well maintained house. Elaine, our landlady, was very welcoming and has a beautiful home with lots of memories and some interesting stories about the house. She can also give you some tips for places to see, things to do etc.Our room was very well appointed and no fear of being cold with blankets and plenty of heating options! A small bottle of bubbles, home made biscuits and a wee bottle of port were on hand to greet us!A generous breakfast was available. Only issue is you need to be prepared to wait as Elaine runs it all on her own so it can take a bit of time to get your food. She definitely takes care of her guests and even gave 1guest a birthday present! Little things like that are what sets a place apart. Would be happy to come back for another visit.
Had a wonderful stay in this beautiful historic home. Only a short walk to the main street & its many shops. Great start to the day with a real nice brekky both cooked & continental The host Elaine was extremely knowledge on the history of Beechworth & did everything to make our stay fantastic
