Great spot to drink and catch up with local vignerons
The epitome of Beechworth hospitality and fine wine. Nuff said.But Ill continue....Even in Beechworth where everyone is absurdly friendly these folk take the cake. They have a great selection of local and foreign wines and basically host a revolving door of talented vignerons on the premises because this is the #1 place to imbibe.The downside? Theyre far too generous and kind:)I would Spinal Tap this review and give them six stars were it possible. This establishment is truly the must visit joint in Beechworth.
Nice bar and cellar door. Just went in to buy a take away and was impressed by the owner knowledge and time he took to explain the wines. Loved the Florentines.
Absolutely lovely little place on Ford Street. We stumbled in for an after dinner drink and enjoyed ourselves immensely. The atmosphere is cozy, especially on a cold night. They have a large range of different drinks - I had two red wines, a cider, some champagne and pear cognac. My partner had a few beers as well. All delicious. The owners and workers go out of their way to make you feel welcome. We chatted and received a bunch of helpful recommendations for our time in Beechworth. All the best things about a small town wrapped into one. Would highly recommend.
No GSM which made me a little sad.Very nice bottled wines, though none in a box. You're not getting change from lobster here, so come prepared.
